Tattoo done by Jodi Thomas at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand.
I got the tattoo of an elephant there named Jokia which means Eye from Heaven. She was born around the 1960 and was rescued in 1999 from illegal logging. During the time she was logging she was pregnant. One day she was pulling a long up a hill and had the baby. Unable to check to see if her baby was okay it fell down the hill and did not make it. Jokia, deeply traumatized by this event, refused to work. As a result her mahout(owner) blinded her on two separate occasions. When she arrived to the Elephant Nature Park, Mae Perm, the oldest and first elephant at the park, immediately came up to her using her trunk to check Jokia’s eyes. Since then they have been inseparable. Mae Perm always showing Jokia around.

This is my first tattoo(a few weeks old, now) done by Cameron at Atomic Tattoo in Austin, TX. I went in with my best friend to get complimentary tattoos and I couldn’t be happier with it/wouldn’t change a thing.
“Life is like photography, you develop from the negatives…”
This is my first tattoo and I love it. I found this image and fell in love with it, I got my tattoo that same day. I’m a photographer and I’ve always wanted a tattoo that represented exactly what I love about a photograph, and this explains it all.
Photographs last forever, and they make memories last forever. I’ve always had a passion for film photography over digital because of how connected you become to your work in the process.
The infinity strip also represents my mother.
Done at Big Joe’s in White Plains, NY.
